Emodii Up Close.

This is an easy entry today. The close up of yesterdays plant image 'Syringa emodii aureovariegata' and at risk of over gilding the lily I must repeat that it is one of the finest garden plants it has been my pleasure to grow.
The partridges are doing fine, though we are down to four chicks now as the smallest appears to have fallen by the wayside somewhere, the sprayed bird is still sitting tight so it's just a game of wait and see.
