Stuck up....2/2
10th June, 2010
As you will observe, the Catchfly does exactly as its name suggests, it catches flies on its sticky stems. These will of course die and their juices be absorbed in the process. Apart from its fly snaffling ability it is a very pretty thing, and given a sunny position on a rockery or at the front of a border is really easy to grow and also a good talking point when people visit that you either don't particularly like or know what to chatter about to....."Come and see my Catchfly" is a good icebreaker....."piss off you boring twat" works equally as well and has the added advantage of dissuading any further visits.
