Many readers will remember the articles (Letters from Thailand) from my brother Michael. He is now back in England with his family and establishing a company here in Teesdale

I would wish him every success in extracting the odd tiny bit of currency from any farmers hereabouts, and I hope his 1000% more charm than I have works well. From downtown Bangkok to Barnard Castle on a friday night is a long and very winding road.
