An Italian form that needs at least dappled shade to fully explore the orange and yellow spring beauty or the yellow, red, and gold fiery autumn display; it is upright bushy little maple to 10ft and a very desirable plant.

Opinion
I have this form right outside my sunroom window......you might think this odd as it likes shade....my sunroom faces North and gets fuck all sun, however, I like to call it a sun room because it sounds classy. Despite all that it is a quite magnificent maple, the spring colour goes on for many weeks and it is one of the finest plants in my home garden. Give it a couple of years to settle and you will be astounded at its vibrancy.
Orange dream is quite a well known maple and should be easily available. This originally put me off because I can be a bit of a plant snob at time with common stuff....I should do well to remember that some plants are popular because they are simply outstanding....such is the case here. I have learnt my lesson. I shall contemplate this fact when next in my sun room.
