Action and Timing

Excellent Italian introduction with strap-like leaves emerging orange-crimson, becoming purple suffused green with a light red undertone: Villa Taranto is a unique maple and one of my personal favourites, the autumn colour is yellow and gold on dome shaped plants to 10ft in any light.

Nursery Notes

Grafted plant.

Opinion

You should have this maple in any collection of ten or more. It is delightful and shimmeringly attractive. Can't say any more than that.
