Opinion
Perhaps one of my favourite forms. An outstandingly attractive plant. Green leaves boast golden yellow margins with a red stripe at each leaf point, the bracts are a good pink, especially in warmer areas or in a more sheltered part of the garden. It is almost impossible to do justice to the autumnal colour, it is quite superb. Red, gold, yellow, orange, pink, scarlet, and purple all combine over a long period, eventually giving way to a more even crimson tone before leaf fall.....It is the big firework in the box, the one you keep till last. A must have plant that will develop over the years then one day take your breath away.
