Action and Timing

Lovely autumn foliage, often kept throughout winter. Spurred delicate yellow flowers in sprays during mid to late spring.

Nursery Notes

Clip back in Feb/March, propagate by autumn division or rhizome cuttings in winter with some protection.

Opinion

A delightful plant, like mini orchids in a delicate daffodil colour. Reducing the old foliage late winter helps show off the spring flowers and encourages new growth for the next season. Excellent as ground cover or round a tree in bulk. A plant I would not be without.
