Hosta 'Blue Angel' (Plantain Lily)

Common Name

Plantain Lily

Moist but not wet

Part or light shade

36 inches high x 70 inches wide

Action and Timing

Huge thick blue-green leaves, heavily ribbed centres with rippled edges. The plant eventually forms a cascading mound. Flowers are pale lavender.

Nursery Notes

Big hosta, said to tolerate some dryness. Propagate by division

I have not got my plant in the right situation which is why the image does not do the plant justice. However i am a grower and not a f***ing photographer! i like this hosta, it is a classic blue giant, bold and sturdy.
