Opinion

I saw this hosta planted around the base of a silver birch tree, The contrast between the whiteness of the trunk and the hosta was stunning, I have also planted them at the base of Cotinus 'Grace' and again the contrast with the red foliage was excellent. So not as boring as it first looks.
