Thick dark green leaf with a blue tinge widely margined chartreuse turning yellow through summer until eventually cream. The puckered leaves are rippled gently at the edge and are nicely cupped. Flowers open light blue then turn white
Nursery Notes
Slow to increase but always popular as it 'does' something. Propagate by division. It makes an open mound in the border or nursery rows.
Opinion
An excellent hosta, especially for pot culture as it always looks good, another variety that is probably worth collecting some seed from.
