Action and Timing

Sturdy dark green leaves irregularly margined ivory which turns clean white as summer progresses, depending on light intensity. There is some streaking towards the leaf centre and a satiny sheen on the surface. Flowers are pale lavender. Forms a dense mound.
 

Nursery Notes

Solid hosta of good substance, it is late to emerge through the ground but increases well. Hosta of the year (USA) in 1997. Propagate by division.
 

Opinion

Never overlook this lovely hosta. It is clean cut and highly reliable in almost any condition, It is one of the most robust varieties, and is excellent in containers.
